Business Development Manager – West Region
Position OverviewInternational Parts is seeking a Business Development Manager – West Region to join the Channel Enablement Team (CET). In this role, the Business Development Manager will partner with dealership leadership and personnel to drive sustainable revenue growth, improve margin performance, and enhance operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include evaluating and optimizing parts sales strategies, streamlining existing processes, and delivering structured coaching and training programs for both inside and outside sales teams. The successful candidate will leverage data-driven insights and industry best practices to support dealership performance and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels within the dealership environment. This is a remote position based in the United States and requires up to 75% travel throughout the U.S. and Canada. ResponsibilitiesReview and advise dealers on the best approach for improving their lead generation pipeline, outbound calling and relationship buildingImprove customer service, outside sales & time management skillsDevelop pricing strategies based on volume, including customer pricing segmentationDevelop and implement a consistent marketing and promotional plan, including e-commerceReview account planning for existing customers and identify gaps in current customer product salesDiscuss inventory management best practices and ensure they are implementedEncourage collaboration between parts and service departmentsImprove and document critical business processes/proceduresIncrease understanding and lending support for International’s internal parts programSupport the dealer in additional areas as neededCreate / revise necessary training materials/presentationsPartner with International Parts Sales, National Account, and Product teamsLead International’s RSM (Retail Sales Management) initiatives and track KPI’s at selected dealers Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree and at least 5 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experienceAt least 1 years of lead experienceORMaster's degree and at least 3 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experienceAt least 1 years of lead experienceORAt least 8 years of business development, sales, mergers and acquisitions, finance or joint venture experienceAt least 1 years of lead experience Additional RequirementsQualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
