Bloomberg Intelligence Developed Asia Rates Market Strategist - Japan
Description & Requirements
- Generate qualitative and quantitative insights on Japanese, Australian, and New Zealand sovereign bond markets for Bloomberg’s global user base.
- Work closely with the US and European interest rate and Asian currency strategists.
- Engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues across geographies and markets. Fluency of Japanese and strong grasp of English required.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal departments and external market professionals to grow a franchise and develop an ecosystem.
- A minimum of 5 years professional experience covering and / or trading at least one of the asset classes
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
- Independent thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset
- Ability to develop professional and collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues
- Familiarity with Bloomberg family of indices
- Bachelor's Degree, with CFA designation or MBA preferred
- Strong knowledge of the Bloomberg Terminal
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Demonstrated continuous career growth within an organization
