  • Diehl Defence is the defence arm of the family-owned Diehl Stiftung, headquartered in Überlingen am Bodensee with a second major site in Röthenbach a.d. Pegnitz, around 4,500+ employees and €1.8B+ revenue. Helmut Rauch is CEO.
  • The core products are IRIS-T air defence (SLM/SLS/SLX), IRIS-T air-to-air missiles, the HEROnet loitering munition, VULCANO precision artillery and naval rounds, 40mm infantry ammunition, and training/protection systems. Diehl does not make the Bundeswehr's new G95 rifle (that is Heckler & Koch); Diehl's small-calibre footprint is ammunition, not rifles.
