The team is responsible for shielding the company’s systems from security risks, while designing technology strategies that enable AIG’s businesses to achieve their goals. AIG’s Information Technology functions include enterprise architecture, software and systems engineering, cybersecurity, and technology risk and compliance. About the role This role will serve as a User Experience and Data Visualization specialist, acting as the critical bridge between Claims business stakeholders and technology teams to design intuitive user interfaces and create compelling data visualizations that support Claims initiatives. The role focuses on enhancing user experience, translating complex data into actionable insights, and supporting business analysis activities through visual design excellence. You will work closely with Claims leadership, operations, business analysts, and technology teams to ensure solutions are user-centered, visually compelling, and aligned with our Claims Technology North Star. How you will create impact Develop Deep understanding of our Claims business processes, operational workflows, and performance drivers to identify, articulate, and address critical business needs. Design and prototype user interfaces for Claims applications, focusing on user experience optimization and stakeholder needs assessment Create compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reporting interfaces that transform complex Claims data into actionable business insights Support business analysis activities by translating requirements into wireframes, user journey maps, and visual documentation Collaborate with Claims stakeholders and IT partners to understand user needs and design requirements that contribute to digital transformation planning Assist with requirements gathering through user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews during Agile planning and delivery milestones Partner with business and technology teams to design user-centered solutions and data presentation approaches that advance the Claims Technology North Star Document user interface specifications, design systems, and data visualization standards to ensure consistency across delivery teams Support project execution through design deliverables, user acceptance criteria, and visual communication of project outcomes What you will need to succeed Experience within the insurance and / or financial services industry. Experience in engagement with teams across multiple disciplines (business, operations, and technology functions). Experience with Agile methodologies, business process design, and enterprise change frameworks. Analytical, data-driven mindset with attention to detail. Ready to take your career to the next level? We would love to hear from you. The base salary range for this position in Jersey City, NJ, is $56,000-$89,000. The position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable incentive plan.
