Analyst, Fraud Risk Specialist for Consumer Banking, Risk Management Group

Business Function Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks. we provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decision. in additional, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank. To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure. Responsibilities - Analyze and monitor consumer banking transactions to identify potential fraudulent activities - Develop and implement effective fraud detection strategies and models to mitigate risks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve fraud cases - Provide regular reports and insights to management on fraud trends and mitigation measures - Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and regulatory changes related to fraud risk management - Contribute to the continuous improvement of fraud detection and prevention processes Requirements - Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Finance, risk management, or a related field; a Master's degree or relevant professional certifications are a plus - Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fraud risk management or financial crime investigation - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data - Proficient in using data analysis tools and techniques to identify patterns and trends - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders - Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities - Good understanding of key risk drivers, risk identification, assessment, and mitigation of material risk - Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, R, Python, or SAS are a plus Apply Now We offer a competitive salary and benefits package and the professional advantages of a dynamic environment that supports your development and recognises your achievements.
