DESCRIPTION:
Join us as a AEM Platform Lead at Thermo Fisher Scientific, creating and managing high-quality digital content that drives customer engagement and business growth. You'll apply your expertise in technical writing, quality assurance, and digital marketing to develop compelling content across multiple channels while ensuring adherence to global brand standards. Collaborating with diverse teams, you'll help optimize content strategy, implement best practices, and deliver impactful marketing communications that resonate with our scientific audience. This position offers the opportunity to combine creative storytelling with technical precision while contributing to our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years of experience in digital content creation, marketing communications, or quality assurance
• Preferred Fields of Study: Marketing, Communications, English, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related scientific/technical field
• Project management or agile certification a plus
• Proven expertise in content management systems (CMS) like Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Strong knowledge of SEO best practices and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SEMRush)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and Adobe Creative Suite
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and web technologies
• Experience with quality assurance testing tools and methodologies
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading abilities with exceptional attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content
• Experience developing multi-channel marketing materials (web, email, social media, print)
• Knowledge of content strategy, information architecture, and user experience principles
• Ability to analyze content performance metrics and optimize accordingly
• Strong project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with diverse teams
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
