Reporting to the Account Supervisor as an Account Executive you will support strategic partnership initiatives while helping manage and grow a portfolio of local sports teams and entertainment properties. In this role, you will play a key role in developing partnership strategies, analyzing performance, and ensuring successful execution across a wide range of sponsorships spanning major league teams, and properties. You will collaborate closely with clients, internal teams, and external partners to maximize the impact of sponsorship investments and deliver meaningful fan engagement.

You bring a strong analytical mindset, a passion for sports business, and the ability to turn insights into compelling stories and strategic recommendations. You value relationship building and are confident working cross-functionally with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. 

REQUIRED SKILLS 

  • Strategy & Measurement. You’ll support the development of annual portfolio strategies, opportunity assessments, and forward-looking partnership recommendations. You’ll lead the monthly sponsorship dashboard reporting in collaboration with research teams, ensuring performance metrics are clear, accurate, and actionable. You’ll own partnership recaps and year-end evaluations, working with third-party measurement partners to analyze media exposure, fan data, and overall ROI. You’ll continuously monitor competitive activity and industry trends to inform smarter strategies and keep your client ahead of the curve. 
  • Property & Account Management. You’ll manage a portfolio of local sports teams (Big 7, Minor League, and NCAA) and entertainment properties, building strong relationships and ensuring all partnership elements are executed successfully. You’ll lead renewal processes, identify new partnership opportunities, lead asset recommendations & valuations, and develop strategic recommendations aligned with client goals. You’ll oversee contract negotiations and act as the liaison between clients, properties, and legal teams to ensure smooth and efficient deal execution. You’ll also support the broader sponsorship portfolio across major leagues and properties, ensuring maximum value is delivered. 
  • Strategic Partnerships & Activations.You’ll collaborate with internal Engagement teams and clients to plan and execute the partnership, including social media and fan engagement initiatives. You’ll help align partnership assets with client programs such as membership, ensuring inventory is effectively utilized to drive consumer engagement. You’ll contribute to developing creative, insight-driven recommendations that enhance partnership value and bring campaigns to life. 
  • Communication & Presentation. You’ll create and deliver visually engaging, insight-driven presentations that clearly communicate performance, strategy, and opportunities. You’ll maintain strong communication across internal teams, clients, and external partners, ensuring alignment and clarity at every stage of the partnership lifecycle. 
  • Professional Skills & Experience. You bring relevant experience in sports marketing, with a strong understanding of the sports business landscape including teams, leagues, fans, and sponsors. You have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and are comfortable working within spreadsheets and data sets. You are detail-oriented, organized, and a self-starter who anticipates needs and solves problems proactively. You have experience in sponsorship strategy, account management, and ideally contract negotiation, along with a proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships. 
  • Travel. You’ll travel a few times per year to support partnership management, attend events, and strengthen relationships with clients and properties. 

The annual range for this role varies between $50,000 - $60,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s experience. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401k, employee stock purchase plan, vacation, personal days and paid holiday time. You are also eligible to participate in disability, life insurance, FSA/HSA plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
