AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. Our team empowers every customer to grow by providing tailored service, unmatched technology, and consistent support. We dive deep to understand each customer's unique challenges, then craft innovative solutions that accelerate their success. This customer-first approach is how we built the world's most adopted cloud. Join us and help us grow. Would you like to be part of a business helping Australia's leading construction, infrastructure, and property companies transform their operations, accelerate innovation, and exceed their business goals? Do you have the business acumen and relationship-building skills necessary to motivate a cross-functional team including sales, solutions architecture, partners, and professional services to deliver business growth for AWS and our customers?
AWS is seeking an Account Executive to drive cloud adoption and expand our business with customers across the construction, infrastructure, and property sectors in Australia. This segment includes some of Australia's most prominent organisations — from major construction and engineering firms to property developers, asset managers, and built-environment consultancies. The Account Executive will be responsible for developing and executing a strategic account plan to grow revenue and deepen cloud adoption across their portfolio. You will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, identify and develop new opportunities, and coordinate a broad team of extended resources to deliver exceptional outcomes for customers.
Key job responsibilities
The Account Executive is responsible for teaming with all aspects of the customer's organisation. This includes C-level executives, operations, engineering, IT, project delivery, and procurement teams. Skills required to build relationships across an account include creative systems thinking, visioning, and executing via collaboration with an extended team to address all customer needs across the construction, infrastructure, and property landscape. The Account Executive is responsible for selling at the most strategic (C-level) within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service adoption. The Account Executive works collaboratively with all appropriate AWS resources (Executives, Partners, Support, Solutions Architects) to support customer interests, and will understand how to strongly advocate for the customer in harmony with what the AWS business needs. In addition to driving new service adoption and expanding existing workloads, this role includes responsibility for identifying digital transformation opportunities unique to the built environment — including areas such as BIM, IoT-enabled asset management, smart buildings, and data-driven project delivery.
