Job Description

  1. Develop and improve the Android Automotive OS(AAOS) core component, and ensure the system is compatible with Google GAS.
  2. Responsible for integration, performance improvement of Google application(Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Play Store) and core services.
  3. Support the development of system applications, frameworks, and HAL related with GAS.
  4. Support the design and develop work of the automotive UX.
  5. Work with internal teams, OEMs, suppliers, and Google teams on GAS topic, ensure the project to achieve Google TA.
  6. Provide technical support to project teams and ensure all component has follow the GAS requirement during development.
  7. Participate in the customization development of AOSP to meet the specific requirement from OEM.
  8. Responsible for GAS certification progress, including define the project certification plan, follow up the certification progress, communication with Google.
  9. Analysis and fix xTS issues, bug triaging to different component team.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science/Electrical/Electronics or comparable major.
  2. 5+ years development experience in Android development with deep understanding of  Android framework, Android Automotive OS(AAOS).
  3. GAS experience is required, familiar with Automotive CDD, GAS requirements (HW, SW, UX….)
  4. Familiar with Design patterns、network communication、binders、 JNI、AIDL/HIDL、SDK/NDK、 performance optimization and AOSP and so on.
  5. Professional programming skill in Java/C++/C.
  6. Working experience in automotive industry is preferred.
  7. Familiar with software development process and toolchain, Able to estimate tasks, do planning, identify and solve the dependencies, able to foresee risks and mitigate.
  8. Good oral and written English, ability to coordinate foreign employees and suppliers.
  9. Good team player with great communication skills.
