Yard Coordinator
Compton, CA
Location: 19431 S. Santa Fe Ave., Compton, CA 90221
Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily yard activities (In & out).
- Direct truck traffic and ensure proper staging of the equipment.
- Communicate with yard workers for safe cargo handling.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate yard inventory records and update accordingly.
- Inspect cargo conditions and report damages or discrepancies.
- Minimize yard congestion and optimize space utilization.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience in yard operations, logistics, or transportation is preferred.
- Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate professionally.
- Multitasking and problem-solving ability.
- Basic Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Ability to read cargo dimensions and weight specifications
- Team-oriented mindset with strong coordination skills.
- Proficient in English & Korean preferred
