Wastewater Treatment Project Manager, West Lafayette, IN - Semiconductor
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wastewater Treatment Project Manager / Superintendent to be part of our team in West Lafayette, IN, beginning onsite at the project on or before May 1st 2026.
The Wastewater Treatment Project Manager / Superintendent is responsible for planning, executing, and supervising all aspects of process gas system installation on semiconductor construction projects. This role ensures the safe, compliant, and on-schedule delivery of high-purity and specialty gas systems critical to semiconductor manufacturing operations.
The successful candidate must be self-motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, communicate clearly and have a proven ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Candidates’ work history must represent increased levels of responsibility on a progressive basis throughout their career.

Key Responsibilities – Process Water Systems (WW, UPW, PCW)
- Serve as the discipline lead for Wastewater (WW), Ultra-Pure Water (UPW), and Process Cooling Water (PCW) systems, providing technical oversight during installation, commissioning, and startup.
- Validate scope, installation methods, and system compliance with approved designs and specifications in coordination with contractors and internal teams.
- Lead coordination efforts for design reviews, field clarifications, submittals, and RFI resolution related to process water infrastructure.
- Conduct regular site walkdowns to verify installation practices, review contractor redlines, and identify deviations from design intent.
- Support and enforce QA/QC processes by partnering with quality teams to implement inspection and testing plans.
- Interface with design professionals, client technical teams, and construction coordinators to resolve field issues efficiently.
- Participate in punch list development, system turnover, commissioning, and startup to ensure complete and compliant system delivery.
- Maintain discipline-specific documentation within project platforms, including issue tracking, test records, and progress reporting.
- Mentor technical staff, promoting knowledge sharing, field best practices, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of construction experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, oil & gas, or similar industrial facility environments.
- Proven experience with high-purity piping systems, cleanroom environments, and base build systems.
- Strong working knowledge of applicable industrial construction codes and standards, with a preference for semiconductor facility experience.
- Demonstrated understanding of SEMI, NFPA, CGA, and high-purity system requirements, along with general familiarity with other relevant codes and standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in document control systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience on semiconductor fabrication (fab) projects.
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification.
- Experience with BIM coordination and modular construction methods.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture or engineering, or related field preferred.
- Equivalent experience in the field will be considered in lieu of formal education.
