Warehouse First Line Manager
Pay Rate: £29,500 - £31,500 (dependent on experience)
Grade: RCS N
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 40 hours per week, Any 5 from 7 rotational 6am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm
Location: Wakefield - WF6 1GY

We're now looking for a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring health and safety compliance and the achievement of key performance targets in a fast-paced logistics environment.
✅WHAT YOU'LL DO
- To directly assist the Senior Management team by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area
- To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, always maintaining standards of excellence
- To track and trace orders using a digital In-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level
- Oversight of kitting and goods out department ensuring all work is completed in a timely manner to customer specification
- Conducting 1-2-1's, return to works and development planning for members of staff
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous experience of people management within a warehouse or supply chain environment is essential
- Strong communicator - both written and verbal
- Good IT experience- using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports.
