To strengthen our transport team, we are looking for a CE Truck Driver who ensures the safe, timely and correct transport of our products. The base location is De Lier (South Holland).

What will you do?

As a Truck Driver, you are responsible for transporting finished products and, occasionally, raw materials between our production sites, storage locations and customers. You will mainly drive within the Netherlands and work in day shifts, primarily handling full truckloads.

Your tasks include, among others:

·        Safely operating the truck and delivering goods on time.

·        Inspecting the truck and cargo prior to departure.

·        Loading and unloading goods using a pallet truck.

·        Correct handling of transport and cargo documentation and processing this digitally.

·        Recording trip data via the onboard computer and digital tachograph.

·        Identifying and reporting irregularities, delays or technical issues.

·        Acting as an ambassador of De Jong Verpakking by Stora Enso at customer sites and locations.

In addition, you ensure that the truck remains clean and in good condition and that you work in compliance with applicable laws and regulations regarding safety, the environment and occupational health and safety (ARBO).

Who are we looking for?

·        CE driving licence with valid Code 95.

·        Experience as a driver is an advantage.

·        You work accurately, safely and independently.

·        You are customer-oriented and have good communication skills.

·        You have an eye for order, cleanliness and safe working practices.

·        You are willing to perform physical tasks during loading and unloading.
