Prudential’s Law, Compliance, Business Ethics & External Affairs (LCBE) organization plays a critical role in ensuring our products, services, and business practices meet the highest standards of integrity and regulatory expectations. We are seeking a Vice President, Compliance Data, Analytics and Reporting to build and lead the capability that transforms compliance data into trusted, decision-useful insights – using AI and advanced analytics to increase coverage, speed and consistency across the Compliance Risk Management framework. This leadership role will help 2nd Line Compliance advance its ability to proactively identify risk, drive transparency and elevate visibility and management of compliance risk globally.

This role reports to the Head of Compliance Risk Management and Business Ethics.

The Vice President will deliver capabilities to strengthen monitoring, testing, and reporting for LCBE Chief Compliance Officers and Global Compliance Program Leads by partnering with global technology and control functions.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence 3 days per week. Your manager will provide additional details relative to days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

  • Define and own the global Compliance Data Strategy aligned to the enterprise data management and governance policy, and privacy, security, retention and records expectations.
  • Define authoritative data sources and standards for compliance-critical datasets, including sales practices, conduct, financial crimes, privacy, conflicts of interest and ethics.
  • Define the strategy, inclusive of the responsible use of AI, for outcomes-driven compliance analytics and reporting that strengthen Compliance’s ability to monitor risk, generate decision useful insights, and scale reporting through modern data and BI practices.
  • Prioritize and lead development of a portfolio of analytics and/or AI/Machine Learning tools, to detect trends, outliers, identify early warning indicators, automate the risk assessment process and measure control effectiveness and program outcomes across monitoring, testing and issues management.
  • Own compliance reporting supporting the Compliance Risk Management framework, global compliance programs, including Key Risk Indicators and reports shared with senior leadership, governance committees and the board.
  • Lead, develop and inspire a team of compliance data analytics and reporting professionals.
  • Partner and build strong relationships with enterprise partners within Global Technology and Operations, Risk Management and Internal Audit.
  • Drive adoption through upskilling and training of the broad Compliance team and practical change management.
  • Provide technical leadership by staying current on relevant and emerging technologies, setting standards for development and delivery, and embedding learning and innovation into day-to-day work.


What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in data science, computer science, statistics, mathematics, information systems, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
  • 10-15 years of experience in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, or data science, including 3+ years leading teams and delivering enterprise analytics products.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience delivering enterprise-scale data, analytics, and reporting programs (not just dashboards).
  • Strong executive communication skills and stakeholder influence across various functions.
  • Proven ability to translate complex compliance risk signals into clear executive insights.
  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data modeling; working knowledge of data integration and governance tools (e.g., Informatica, Purview or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft data ecosystem, specifically leveraging Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to build integrated reporting.
  • Proficiency with SQL and relational databases; experience with analytics/programming tools such as Python and/or SAS.
  • Proven ability to lead a team of analytics and reporting professionals of various experience levels


It’d be a plus if you had:

  • 10+ years of experience in analytics, data strategy, and/or business intelligence in a regulated financial services environment (insurance and/or asset management preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Second Line Compliance oversight, credible challenge, and governance and/or supporting Compliance, Compliance Risk Management, Risk Analytics or Compliance MI.
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulatory environments (e.g., SEC, FINRA, state Departments of Insurance, NAIC, privacy/consumer protection).

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $178,600.00 to $267,800.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
