Responsibilities

Understand briefs and translate concepts into creative, and innovative videos, and ensure on-time delivery
Create concept boards and other visual representations of prospective edits for multiple projects
Assemble raw footage and incorporate necessary inputs (audio, graphics, colour grading, etc.) to produce a rough cut file on the basis of the script/story sequence
Facilitate the process of editing social media content (Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube videos) on the basis of understanding the web codecs and nuances of each platform
Collaborate with the cross-functional teams (Production, Creative, Content Marketing, etc.) to deliver videos as per requirement within defined timelines
Keep yourself updated with the latest trends and practices across mediums and platforms

Must have skills

Proven work experience of 1 to 2 years as an Editor in a production house/creative agency or similar setup
Proficiency in editing software and programs (e.g. Da Vinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects) is essential
An ideal fit must be a multi-tasker with a keen eye for details
Adherence to delivery timelines will be a requisite for this role
