Payroll Specialist - Latam

We are seeking a Payroll Department Specialist to support personnel administration operations across Latin America, with a focus on Brazil, Chile, and Mexico.

This professional will be support for payroll, benefits administration, legal compliance, and regional process structuring. The role involves harmonizing practices across acquired entities, ensuring standardization, legal compliance, and operational efficiency and digital transformation.

This position reports to the Payroll Manager Latam of a Finnish multinational industrial company with 19,000 employees worldwide and approximately 2,500 in the region.

We need people who can see new ways to do things and make these changes happen. Hands-on attitude is required and you like to take responsibility and organize your own work.

You have the basics needed in place: a university degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Law or related fields. Postgraduate studies or an MBA in People Management, Labor Law, or related areas will be considered a plus. Preferably solid work experience within Payroll/Time Management, with a specialist role. Proven experience in multinational companies is essential, including processes across multiple Latin American countries. You will be working in a global environment, so we are looking for a strong communicator (both written and verbal) not only in Portuguese, but also in English an Spanish (advanced or fluent). 

Desired Skills and Competencies:

• Analytical, strategic, and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong change management in multicultural environments.
• Solid knowledge of labor laws across different Latin American countries.
• Solid experience with the implementation of ADP Expert or ADP Global View is desirable.
