Category Purchaser – Shape Global Spare Parts Procurement

Are you looking for an opportunity to launch your career to the next level? We are looking for a Category Purchaser to join our Global Supply Parts Procurement team in Wuxi, China. In this role, you will lead and coordinate global spare parts procurement for Pumps & Mixers and C-parts, ensuring cost-efficient, reliable supply to customers across multiple industries. You will work at the intersection of strategy and operations, collaborating with global stakeholders and suppliers. Your responsibilities

• You will execute procurement activities for globally assigned categories and suppliers in line with sourcing strategies.
• You will monitor and follow up purchase orders to ensure cost efficiency, quality compliance, and on-time delivery.
• You will manage price agreements, item data, and purchasing information in ERP and related systems.
• You will plan and lead annual price negotiations and support long-term cost-saving initiatives such as Design-to-Cost programs.
• You will collaborate with supplier quality, logistics, and sales teams to support sourcing, cost estimation, and bidding activities.

Expectations for you

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field.
• You have at least 3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or a similar role.
• You have strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills and are comfortable working in a global matrix organization.
• You are proficient in Microsoft Office tools and have experience with ERP systems; Infor LN experience is an advantage.
• You are fluent in English; additional languages are considered an asset.
