We are looking for an Agreement Manager, Marine to join our team and take a leading role in building, managing, and strengthening long-term service agreements with our marine customers. In our service agreements, we include services and products improving the installations of our customers.

Key responsibilities

Your role is to lead and coordinate internal and external resources for service agreements and provide support in the sales process. This means you will work closely with our sales, project, and spare parts teams to get the best solution for the customer. Your role is also to plan and be involved in the development of our customers’ marine scrubber systems, the revisions, audits and the inspections on site. You will be also developing our subcontracting and partner network.

You are Valmet’s eyes and ears and act as key contact person for the customer. You play an important role in connecting customer needs converting them into possible solutions, always having Valmet´s Product Specialists and their skills to back you up.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering, marine engineering, environmental engineering, industrial engineering or similar

  • minimum of 8 years’ of relevant professional experience within sales, project management or engineering roles preferably within marine customer interface

  • experience of marine emission control systems (marine SOx scrubbers) technology, preferably on both Open Loop -type and Hybrid -type system

  • experience of technical support, troubleshooting and maintenance operations of marine emission control system

  • experience of marine emission control system process and process analytics

  • experience of sales, account management, agreement management, preferably within marine customer base

  • good written and oral skills in Finnish and English are essential

  • willingness and ability to travel globally
