Used Car Lot Porter - Audi of West Houston

Job Summary:

The Used Car Lot Porter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the pre-owned vehicle inventory while supporting daily dealership operations.

This role plays a critical part in ensuring vehicles are customer-ready, properly staged, and safely moved to support the sales team and overall customer experience.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Move, stage, and park vehicles to maintain an organized, customer-ready lot display.
• Assist with customer vehicle deliveries, including final staging and preparation.
• Transport vehicles between dealership locations or offsite storage as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the car lot, showroom entrances, and display areas.
• Install dealer tags, check fuel levels, and perform light detailing touch-ups as needed.
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers on the lot, directing them to appropriate sales staff.
• Follow all safety policies and immediately report any vehicle damage, incidents, or concerns to management.

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to safely operate and maneuver vehicles in tight spaces.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods of time.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining dealership presentation standards.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA.
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements, including drug testing, background check, and MVR.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a porter, lot attendant, or automotive dealership role.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle features and inventory organization practices.

Compensation (Hourly):

• $17.00 - 19.00 / hour
  • Depending on experience and qualifications

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• Sundays Always Off
• Saturday Availability Required
