Job Description:
The Trailer Utility / Yard Utility Worker is responsible for supporting daily yard operations through the safe operation of forklifts and the movement of trailers and materials within the yard. This role focuses on maintaining efficient workflow, cleanliness, and safety across the yard.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Operate forklifts safely within the yard
Shuttle trailers in and out of bays as needed
Move and position trailers within the yard
Wash trailers and dollies
Empty shop metal containers
Unload supplies and equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Communicate with supervisors and yard personnel to support daily operations
Requirements
Must have an active driver’s license issued by the state
Must be 21 years or older
Must be willing to work Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Knowledge and Skills
1–2 years of experience in yard operations or warehouse environments
Forklift experience preferred (certification a plus)
Ability to follow instructions and work independently
Strong attention to safety and detail

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The starting pay for this position is $19.35 per hour with a one-year progression to top pay $24.19. For union-represented postings, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
Hired applicants are eligible for weekly pay, extensive training, 401(K), defined-benefit pension plan, medical-dental and vision after waiting and or probation period, $0 healthcare premium, paid vacation, paid sick and family and medical leave time as required by law, paid holidays, discounted employee stock purchase program.

Pay Range:
For this union-represented posting, wage rates and ranges and benefit offerings are governed by applicable collective bargaining agreement provisions.
