Extra Help - Physical Therapist - Physical Therapy

Position Summary The Extra Help (EH) Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for the provision of physical therapy services within her or his individual scope of clinical competence including: examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis, development and implementation of a plan of care that includes direct intervention, communication, collaboration and patient education and the evaluation of outcomes. Duties Responsibilities Provide professional therapy services in accordance with the standards established by the professional association and other relevant regulatory requirements. Supervise Physical Therapist students. The EH PT is also responsible for upholding professional standards and promoting quality in practice. EH PT are responsible for administrative tasks related to the patient care services they provide and required for regulatory and organizational compliance. Complete administrative and regulatory tasks required as an employee of the UI Health and for practice as a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Illinois. Other related duties as assigned. (Alternative productivity expectations may be determined within this classification based on fluctuating needs of the department) Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
