CC Intern
Position Description: Assist with coordination and promotion of outreach events for Turner projects, subcontractors and employees. Under direction of local Community Citizenship team, provide support for local business unit to identify and establish strong business partnerships, build community networks, and disseminate information using social media platforms. Reports to: Community Citizenship Director or Manager Essential Duties Responsibilities: Assist in brainstorming, administration, coordination, preparation, and promotion of outreach events for projects, subcontractors and employees, such as ACE Mentoring, YouthForce, Subcontractor Trade Fairs, and Turner School of Construction Management. Provide support to Turner Service Projects, assist with building community networks contacts, conduct research, create presentations and coordinate information sessions. Hands on responsibility to expand and build social media resources to showcase outreach and event activities, update and post approved social media content. Interact with community network, attend trade shows and engage with local economic entity organizations that provide support for Underrepresented Business Enterprises (UBE) owned businesses and diverse and local workforce. Other activities, duties, and responsibilities as assigned.
