Trunker (CE Licence) - Night Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary: 

We are looking for a Trunker to be based at our Dublin Distribution Centre working across 5 shifts a week at evening/night.

 

Key Accountabilities: 

  • Operate articulated vehicles in a safe and professional manner

  • Drive company trailers to regional/country depots for delivery

  • Ensure timely deliveries and collections with minimal delays

  • Fuel tractor units and trailers

  • Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects

  • Completing safety assessments 

  • Safely parking trailers 

  • Manoeuvring laden and un-laden trailers 

  • Maintain accurate delivery and transport documentation

  • Ensuring handover procedures are correctly implemented when passing goods on to other workers. 

  

Requirements: 

  • CE licence 

  • Digital Tachograph card 

  • CPC Modules up to date 

  • Fluent English Language Skills essential (both written and spoken)
