About the role

Are you ready to take the next step in your treasury accounting career? We’re looking for a talented Treasury Accounting professional to join our specialist Group Treasury team. Reporting to the Head of Treasury – Accounting, you’ll play a key role in delivering high‑quality financial reporting, supporting our Treasury Management System, and partnering closely with stakeholders across Treasury and wider Finance.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys hands‑on technical accounting, thrives in a fast‑paced environment, and wants to contribute to continuous improvement in systems, processes, and controls.


This role can be based at our London or Welwyn Garden City office.

You will be responsible for

  • Leading the operation, optimisation, and integration of Treasury Management Systems, including configuration, implementation, and ERP connectivity.
  • Managing FX cash flow hedge accounting under IFRS 9—covering designation, OCI tracking, recycling, and ongoing effectiveness testing.
  • Taking ownership of accounting for commodity derivatives, including designation, documentation, valuation oversight, and IFRS 13 disclosure support.
  • Preparing robust, well‑documented technical accounting papers for complex treasury transactions.
  • Supporting system upgrades, automation initiatives, and process redesign across the treasury finance environment.
  • Enhancing and maintaining a strong control framework for treasury reporting, proactively addressing any control gaps.
  • Building strong relationships across Group Finance, Finance Change, Treasury teams, and external auditors.
  • Using ERP & EPM systems for journals, reconciliations, and the production of treasury reporting.

You will need

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in treasury accounting and financial instruments.
  • Hands‑on experience working with ERP systems.
  • Commodity hedging experience (desirable).
  • Expertise in control & compliance, IFRS application, and ERP/TMS usage.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to see the “big picture”.
  • Experience with ETL tools is an advantage.
