Travel Reset Supervisor - Waco
Responsibilities Job Summary: Supervise Reset Merchandising Partners who perform merchandising resets and small fixture installations supporting new store construction and store remodels. Store fixture installations include floor fixtures and other store display equipment. Receives predetermined work assignments that are subject to a moderate level of control and review. Key Responsibilities & Essential Functions: • Supervises the work of Reset Merchandiser partners and follow up with different stakeholders as necessary. Check work as necessary to ensure planogram (POG) integrity. • Supervise the crew during reset/remodel, meeting time expectations while maintaining work quality and safety. • Acts as advisor to direct reports to resolve technical problems. • Responsibility for hiring, termination, performance appraisals, and pay reviews. Communicates the state of the team (performance, operations, morale, department needs) to Leader. • Develops and administers schedules. Sets day-to-day objectives for work team and ensures work is performed consistently within existing policies and procedures. • Interacts daily with direct reports and peer leaders. • Merchandises products effectively. Communicates with vendors. • Works within established guidelines, processes, and procedures. May recommend improvements to achieve team goals. Providing input in managing costs related to the team/department. • Ensure arrangement and placement of products on the shelves in accordance with blueprints and plan-o-grams (POGs). • Uses technology and data to manage inventory and Product Shelf Assignments, tags, and POGs. • Responsible for compliance with all safety program requirements • Ensure partners are providing exemplary customer service at the stores: Greet customers. Qualifications & Key Requirements: Work Experience: Experience in all aspects merchandising using Plan-O-Grams - Required Previous Supervisory experience - Required Experience desired includes - home improvement stores, big box retail, pharmacy, planograms, national rollouts, remodel, basic gondola fixture parts knowledge, new stores, and experience with national racking standards for Gondola / Retail Fixture installation, a deep understanding of merchandising. - Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced understanding of fixture placement drawings and reading blueprint - Required Computer skills including Microsoft Office software, H-E-B systems, and designated conference call systems. - Required Must have the knowledge of, and the ability to use hand tools including power tools. - Required Must be able to work evenings and weekends and be out of town for extended periods of time if the work requires. - Required Education: Technical/Vocational - Required Bachelor’s Degree Technical, vocational, or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of education and/or relevant work experience. Completion of H-E-B Management / Leadership programs where applicable (i.e. SORM or ATL - Required Licenses/Certifications: Applicants must have a valid driver's license - Required Physical Demands & Working Conditions: Ability to lift up to 86 pounds, reach, climb ladders, stand, bend, pull, push, twist, and kneel. Bending, squatting, extending arms upward and downward, standing for long periods at a time Work in hot/cold environments. Must be able to travel.
