Transportation Tracking Coordinator - Lakeland
- continuously monitoring the delivery status of inbound loads, identifying those in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date
- providing timely and accurate communication regarding inbound purchase orders in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date to allow for the development of effective mitigation strategies
- maximizing on-time deliveries into Publix facilities by initiating contact with warehouse receiving departments, suppliers, and manufacturing plants
- tracking seasonal items, highly sensitive items, and expedited transfers
- monitoring delays at shipping and receiving locations to minimize cost to Publix and ensure carriers are compensated for the time delayed

- have one year experience working in Distribution, Transportation or an analytical field

- have knowledge of the transportation industry and
- have knowledge of United States geography
- current Lakeland Distribution associate
- have an associate’s degree in Business, Transportation or a related field or equivalent experience and
- have three years’ clerical experience working in Transportation
