Transportation Tracking Coordinator - Lakeland

  • continuously monitoring the delivery status of inbound loads, identifying those in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date
  • providing timely and accurate communication regarding inbound purchase orders in jeopardy of not arriving on the requested due date to allow for the development of effective mitigation strategies
  • maximizing on-time deliveries into Publix facilities by initiating contact with warehouse receiving departments, suppliers, and manufacturing plants
  • tracking seasonal items, highly sensitive items, and expedited transfers
  • monitoring delays at shipping and receiving locations to minimize cost to Publix and ensure carriers are compensated for the time delayed

  • have one year experience working in Distribution, Transportation or an analytical field
  • be able to work flexible hours and be available on weekends

  • current Lakeland Distribution associate
  • have an associate’s degree in Business, Transportation or a related field or equivalent experience and
  • have three years’ clerical experience working in Transportation
