Trade Management Senior Specialist

This role offers the opportunity to own global posttrade processes within the Trade Management team under Fund & Investment Operations (EIS), directly influencing risk mitigation, control design, and operational resiliency across a complex fund ecosystem. You’ll partner closely with Product and Technology leaders to shape solutions that support realworld processing while driving global standardization, audit readiness, and endtoend alignment at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Global Risk Ownership: Serve as the global risk owner for assigned Trade Management processes, overseeing risk identification, mitigation, and remediation across regions and products while partnering with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams.
  • Operational–Technology Liaison: Act as a bridge between Trade Management and Product/Technology teams, ensuring operational requirements, controls, and real‑world processing needs are reflected in solution design and delivery.
  • Global Process Alignment: Drive global process standardization and alignment, clearly defining global versus regional variations, promoting cross‑training, and strengthening operational resiliency.
  • Cross‑Ecosystem Collaboration: Partner with upstream and downstream teams (e.g., Fund Accounting, Custody, Technology) to ensure cohesive end‑to‑end processes, effective handoffs, and aligned controls. Process Gap Resolution & Roadmap Alignment: Identify and close process gaps, assess alignment between operational and product roadmaps, and track remediation efforts through completion to support operational stability.
  • Contingency Planning: Develop, maintain, and coordinate global contingency plans for critical Trade Management activities, including testing and post‑incident enhancements.
  • Audit & Regulatory Readiness: Support global audits and regulatory reviews through documentation, evidence coordination, and ownership of remediation actions.
  • Leadership Oversight Support: Provide governance and oversight support, including Flight Tower review, SLA and risk monitoring, escalation of material issues, and execution of designated control responsibilities.
  • Proactively identifies and mitigates external events and regulatory changes impacting Trade Management. Oversees and adheres to established control standards to ensure ongoing regulatory and policy compliance.
  • Leads and participates in special projects and initiatives related to Trade Management, regulatory change, or operational enhancement, and performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Trade Management, post-trade operations, middle office, custody/settlement operations, or a closely related investment operations role
  • Demonstrated experience owning or supporting risk mitigation, controls, or governance for global operational processes (e.g., control execution, issue remediation, evidence collection, audit support)
  • Proven ability to drive process alignment/standardization across multiple stakeholders (global and/or multi-regional), including documenting procedures and clarifying global vs regional variations
  • Experience partnering with Product/Technology teams to translate operational needs into clear requirements and to validate solutions (e.g., UAT participation, acceptance criteria, readiness testing)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of leading root-cause analysis and driving remediation through to completion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to escalate risks/issues with clear context and recommended actions
