Responsibilities
As a Test Engineer at Intelic, you ensure our autonomous systems are reliable, safe, and ready for deployment. You are the vital link between development and forward-deployment, validating that our software performs as expected in real-world conditions.
Your mission is to bridge software, hardware, and the end-user experience. You will define, execute, and document structured tests—from simulation-based integration to full mission validation—providing valuable insights to the product development process.
In practice, your responsibilities include:
Preparing, configuring, troubleshooting, and deploying Intelic software on unmanned platforms
Executing and maintaining end-to-end, integration, and acceptance tests to assess reliability, safety, and compliance
Using SITL (Software In The Loop) and other Simulation software to validate performance under simulated conditions
Supporting real-world field trials and validation tests under realistic conditions
Monitoring system behavior during missions, identifying and diagnosing technical issues, and resolving them in real time
Conducting red team-style stress and contingency tests (e.g., GPS spoofing, communication loss, hostile takeovers)
Collaborating closely with software engineers, validation managers, and hardware partners to enhance system robustness and product quality
Maintaining structured documentation and contributing to the refinement of validation procedures and quality assurance standards
Supporting post-test reporting, data analysis, and corrective action workflows in alignment with Intelic's QA and validation processes
