Corteva Agriscience has an exciting opportunity for a Pioneer Territory Manager serving the Texas Upper Gulf Coast. If hired, you may be required to travel as necessary to support business activities. Candidate should reside within the territory. What You Will Do:
Customer Facing Sales:
- Work directly with growers to deliver Pioneer brand value and drive sales with targeted accounts by:
- Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Managing selling activities and servicing accounts
- Applying agronomy insights and product management knowledge
- Team-selling alongside Pioneer Agents
- Maintain thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Pioneer products and services to support resolution of customer service calls related to product performance and agronomic issues when they cannot be resolved by the Sales Representative.
Sales Leadership:
- Recruit, select, and retain a high-quality professional sales force to effectively meet customer needs within the assigned geography.
- Serve as a role model, teacher, and coach to Pioneer sales representatives by demonstrating strong sales skills and customer responsiveness.
- Coordinate sales and product training to strengthen sales effectiveness and enhance product and agronomy knowledge.
Sales Management:
- Manage all aspects of Pioneer’s business within the assigned territory, including:
- Financial: Discounts, samples, and fixed-cost budgets
- Product: Demand planning, supply, and plot assignments
- Business: Sales targets, commissions, customer planning, and tactical plans
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, in Agronomy, Ag Business, or Ag Leadership required. Will consider other degrees with related field sales experience.
- At least 5 years of sales experience, managing and coaching individuals. Ag sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Must be able to sell, negotiate, influence, resolve conflict, and coach.
- Agronomy and crop production practices are preferred.
- Willingness to travel and work in a rural environment.
- Ability to pass a driving record background check.
- VISA sponsorship is not available for this position.
- International relocation is not offered for this position
