The Opportunity

Are you ready to elevate your sales career and make a real impact in healthcare? We’re looking for a Territory Manager to join our Mako Robotics division, focused on a portfolio that includes the Mako SmartRobotics™ system and its advanced applications in total knee, partial knee, and total hip procedures. These robotic-assisted solutions are designed to enhance surgical precision, improve patient outcomes, and support surgeons with data-driven insights throughout the operative workflow. You’ll be partnering with hospitals and surgeons to sell and implement cutting‑edge robotic technologies that elevate orthopaedic care and empower providers to deliver consistently exceptional results.

This is a national role, covering hospitals and healthcare facilities across both the North and South Islands of New Zealand.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a strategic territory sales plan to exceed targets

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow market share

  • Build strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, theatre managers, biomedical engineers, procurement teams and hospital C-Suite

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction

  • Deliver product demonstrations, educational sessions, and training programs

  • Provide exceptional customer service and post-sale clinical support

Who You Are

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven success in medical sales with a track record of exceeding targets (5+ years)

  • Strong communication and presentation skills to engage diverse audiences

  • Strategic mindset with business acumen and market analysis skills

  • Deep knowledge and understanding of the NZ healthcare system and medical sales

  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel across New Zealand

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health, Business, Nursing, Engineering, or related field
