Do you want to dive deeper into the world of complex networks? In the Network and Security Operations Department, you will support the smooth operation of all network services for our customers and Temenos AG. As part of the Network and Security Operations team, you will work within an exciting and evolving environment ranging from classic LAN core services and WAN infrastructure to modern cloud networking setups. Take the opportunity to become a network engineer in a transforming network landscape at Temenos.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will troubleshoot network and security issues and plan, implement, and document changes in accordance with established processes, SLAs, and ITIL standards.
You will proactively optimize network environments by migrating, updating, monitoring, and adjusting systems as part of a major network refresh and transformation program.
You will operate, configure, and maintain network and security solutions using technologies such as Cisco Meraki, Fortinet, and Arista.
You will contribute to the introduction and expansion of automation using Ansible and GitLab, leveraging platform APIs to improve efficiency.
You will support and actively drive the transition toward Infrastructure as Code within network operations.
You will participate in on-call duty as well as planned off-hour changes in alignment with service level agreements.
You will collaborate with team members to ensure stable, secure, and scalable network services across all environments.
SKILLS
You should have hands-on experience in operating enterprise networks, including routing and switching.
You should have strong troubleshooting skills and routine experience working with network devices via the CLI.
You should have the ability to orient yourself quickly within complex network environments.
You should have basic knowledge of Linux systems.
You should have completed formal training or studies in the IT or network field or possess equivalent practical experience as a career changer.
You should have good knowledge of Cisco Meraki and Fortinet technologies, with Arista experience considered a strong plus.
You should have a self-driven mindset with a strong desire for continuous learning, supported by learning platforms and training opportunities.
You should have a high degree of independence, initiative, and personal responsibility in your daily work.
You should have a collaborative team mindset and appreciate an open error culture focused on learning and continuous improvement.
You should have very good written and spoken English skills, with additional languages considered a plus.
You should have vendor certifications such as CCNP, FCP, or equivalent, which are considered an advantage.
You should have the willingness and ability to travel when required
