Technology Strategy Manager

Verisure is seeking a talented, innovative, passionate Technology Strategy Manager, to join our Group Technology Organization. The role will join the Technology Strategy & Governance team, reporting to the Technology Strategy and Governance Director, herself reporting to the CTO, and will be based in Malmo, Geneva or Madrid. This is a permanent position, and uniquely offers an opportunity to impact on Verisure’s ambitious Technology developments and innovation programs. Supporting the Director, the position will contribute to delivering on the company’s Technology strategy and provide exposure to the company Management Team and Board.

This is a high-visibility, fast-pace role. We are looking for people who can make a tangible positive impact across our Technology function to transform and add value, not only to our Company but the industry itself.

The Technology Strategy Manager will play a critical role in driving and accelerating our Technology organization and impact the delivery of Verisure‘s Technology strategy. The role will be varied and is positioned to interact closely with our senior leaders. Key activities would include (not exhaustive):

• Support on development and/or implementation of our technology strategy across a broad range of topics, ranging from technical topics (e.g., review of key technology or TelCo vendors) to internal transformation topics (e.g., ongoing AI transformation) to critical commercial topics (e.g., driving business cases for major new programs and/or products).  
• Help ensure that the wider Technology program is aligned with the broader business strategic intent and other functions, working closely with e.g., the Business, Procurement, Finance and Legal.
• Support other strategic projects under the direction of the Director as needed in order to support Technology acceleration across the Group
• Support on managing our internal governance and reporting rhythm both within technology and to our executive leadership

We are looking for a high potential / top performer individual who will have the opportunity for visibility and to learn from a growing and comprehensive Technology program and have a real impact on the business and the organization.

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience technology-related fields from either, or a mix of:
  • Leading consulting firms
  • Fast-paced/high performing engineering or tech companies
• University degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or Business
• Very strong analytical skills and capability to process information/data and deliver clear analysis
• Excellent organization, presentation, and writing abilities
• Good commercial acumen
• Experience of working in international companies and contexts, ideally international work experience outside of the country of origin
• Fluency in English
