- Pre-requisite for the Role:
- Banking Experience in Back Office operations (Commercial Loan servicing QC & Posting Transactions experience must) of Min 5 Years with 2 years in a Team Lead role.
- Domain knowledge of Servicing, Payment application, Research and review of Commercial loan Docs & Legal language simplification.
- Must Have for the Role:
- Lifecycle of a commercial loans.
- Knowledge of loan origination and underwriting processes including credit evaluation, KYC, and risk analysis.
- Proficiency in loan booking/boarding using commercial lending systems and interpreting legal/ attorney documentation.
- Expertise in loan servicing payment schedules, rate changes, amortization, and customer service functions.
- Experience with payment processing handling principal, interest, fees, payoffs, and reconciliations.
- Understanding of collateral management lien tracking, UCC filings, collateral monitoring.
- Familiarity with covenant monitoring tracking borrower compliance with financial and non-financial covenants.
- Familiarity with various loan products: term loans, revolving lines of credit, construction loans, SBA loans, etc.
- Acquaintance to regulatory and compliance requirements in US commercial lending (e.g., OCC, FDIC, SOX).
- Knowledge of legal and compliance requirements in syndicated loans.
- Exposure to AFS and other standard Commercial Lending applications preferred
- Good exposure to Windows OS, MS office tools, Presentation (PPT) & various reports
- Regular interaction with client, Client management Skills. Prior Experience in customer interfacing role will be preferred
- Ability to handle team of 15 associates
- Ability to handle complex Process and should be able to multitask Should be familiar with Leave Management, Productivity, Utilization, cross Training Etc
- Should be good in analytical and logical reasoning
- Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:
- Motivate and help all Team Members to achieve daily production targets Ensure accuracy, touch time and other applicable service levels of the transactional processing are met
- Maintain all daily Deliverable reports like Production, quality, Productivity, Utilization and report to management.
- Client Management: Drive daily, weekly and monthly calls and maintain / share Reports with customers. Communicate with clients through Email, Phone, and Messenger on a regular basis for any process related issue / concern and gain customer confidence.
- Encourage teamwork, Ideas and innovation in the Team.
- Proactively report any deviation in the process and work on solutions Able to interact with various departments to ensure smooth running of operations and escalate any issue observed.
- Conduct regular team huddle, Team Meeting, Training and Quality session.
- Work and maintain Incentive report, Monthly team performance review, and Monthly team presentation.
- Share quality feedback with TM and work on Root cause analysis (RCA) or other quality tools.
- Drive Fun activity, R&R and team building activity, manage attrition.
- Drive continuous improvement and add value to the process.
