Tax Resolution Analyst

Are you interested in building a career in tax and investment operations while helping clients resolve important account‑related issues? Tax Resolution Services (TRS) is seeking a Tax Resolution Analyst to join our collaborative, client‑focused team.

This role is well‑suited for someone looking to develop practical experience in tax and cost basis resolution while working closely with experienced partners across the organization. As a Tax Resolution Analyst, you will support and manage assigned tax and cost basis cases, helping ensure client inquiries are researched thoroughly, communicated clearly, and resolved accurately.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a portfolio of assigned tax and cost basis cases, working through each case from intake to resolution with guidance and established procedures.

  • Communicate with internal partners, third‑party vendors, and clients using clear, professional written and verbal communication.

  • Accept inbound client calls from assigned open cases.

  • Research and analyze client inquiries to help identify appropriate next steps, escalating issues when needed to ensure timely and compliant resolution.

  • Maintain accurate case documentation and client records in CRM systems.

  • Explain tax and cost basis concepts in a clear, approachable way based on the audience and situation.

  • Follow defined workflows and service standards while applying judgment in situations that require additional review or support.

  • Identify recurring issues or process opportunities and share observations with the team.

  • Participate in team huddles, training sessions, and ongoing process‑improvement discussions.

  • Support special projects and perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses are required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in tax, cost basis, or brokerage operations.

  • At least 3 years of general professional experience, with exposure to brokerage operations, client service, or issue resolution preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and prioritize multiple cases.

  • Solid analytical and problem‑solving skills, with comfort working within established guidelines.

  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate.

  • Professional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client experience and accuracy.

  • Hybrid work model- in Malvern, PA only.
