For this reason, we offer you the opportunity to take our Culture Check and get an insight into our Corporate Culture.

This test consists of 8 questions and will take no longer than 5 minutes. Once an answer is selected, it cannot be changed. Remember to always choose the answer that most fits your behaviour.

While the order was progressing through the relevant stages of supply (sales, engineering, procurement, production, finance), a number of issues were identified. The next order is about to commence. I set up a joint meeting with representatives from each of the departments to understand the challenges in the last order and draw learnings for future orders

On returning to the meeting I follow the planned agenda. I then attach some literature on SPG’s conveyor system products to the meeting minutes for their information

Imagine a customer order has been received and processed. After working on the machines for some time, you discover a serious error in the drawings. Fixing the error and the related downstream processes will result in a time extension of at least an additional week but is crucial for the machine to be manufactured correctly. Tomorrow, however, is already the scheduled delivery to the customer. What would you do?

I immediately inform the customer that the planned delivery date is not achievable and explain why. I then work with the relevant teams to rectify the error and regularly keep the customer up to date on the new arrangements
I finish the machine and deliver it in a timely manner. On delivery I make the customer aware of the problem and agree to update them when we the problem is fixed
I stop working on the machine immediately. Then I gather the relevant teams to redesign the manufacturing process. Only once the error is fixed can the machine be sent to the customer

I give them a low rating. In the review meeting I offer them both positive and constructive feedback to improve their performance. I also schedule a follow up conversation to explore what excites and frustrates them in the team
