About the role
- Monitor and manage full system-level requirements for the overall electrical/electronic (E/E) architecture and ensure requirements are met.
- Oversee the development, documentation, and refinement of vehicle architecture for software defined vehicles, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements.
- Create tradeoff studies for various decisions in the vehicle architecture and drive alignment with internal and external teams.
- Define the network and power architecture based on stakeholder and customer needs, convert them into system requirements, and devise operational objectives for the system.
- Develop scalable and adaptable architecture that can be implemented across multiple vehicle variants.
- Architect architecture system requirements and subsystem requirements and be responsible for defining system bounds, capabilities and functional features.
- Provide clear goals for project and develop steps to oversee their execution.
- Lead the integration of the E/E architecture onto bucks and mules, ensuring that key architectural assumptions are validated through rigorous testing and physical experimentation.
- Monitor and manage validation and verification of requirements at the system and subsystem level
We're looking for someone who has:
- Must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 2 years of experience as a Systems Engineer with an autonomous vehicles company
- At least 2 years of experience with L4 systems
The salary range for this position is $113,800 - $587,500 per year USD annually.
