Your Role and Responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated System Service Technician to join our Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR) team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the technical execution, commissioning, and maintenance of automation projects, working directly with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
Ensures software engineering is carried out in compliance with ABB standards, processes, guidelines of project software engineering.
Assists project managers and lead project engineers in technical reviews, and discussions with customers, partners, and suppliers and in the resolution of technical problems, both remotely and at customer sites inside and outside Spain.
Management, development and ensure the proper implementation of the proposed system in the client's facilities within the expected period at the lowest possible cost.
Creates highly structured and maintainable code and deliverables with right amount of documentation.
The work model for the role is: hybrid (Spain). If your location is Burgos or the surrounding area, it will be positively valued. However, if you are located elsewhere in Spain, don't worry, it won't be a problem for remote work.
This role is contributing to the 4333 Robotics Customer Service in Spain.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Execute automation projects on AMR/AGV systems including commissioning, configuration, and technical support.
Provide remote technical assistance, analyzing both AMR software opportunities and implemented project challenges.
Collaborate with sales teams and clients to improve their processes and incorporate modifications by developing technical studies.
Ensure compliance with functional safety standards and project best practices
Travel to customer sites for installation, commissioning, and technical support.

Qualifications for the Role
Higher technical education or university degree in Electronics, Robotics, or Automation
More than 2 years of experience executing automation projects (commissioning, maintenance, technical assistance)
Solid knowledge of PLC programming and communication protocols
Experience in functional safety field configuration and understanding of functional safety standards
Programming of electronic devices and embedded systems
Demonstrated experience to integrate, configure, test, and validate software systems developed in an orderly and efficient way, applying knowledge and optimizing the software to be installed
Spanish and English languages (required).
