System Engineer - Traction

You'll play a key role in designing and delivering sustainable and efficient train systems that shape the future of mobility. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business (such as Certification & Validation, TSS Team, and Participating Units), ensure coordination on interfaces and performance, and support technical meetings with customers to provide solutions and clarity.
Youll specifically take care of defining the train system architecture and operational modes while ensuring compatibility across subsystems, but also perform verification and validation activities to ensure optimal train integration.
Well look to you for:
- Performing transverse requirement allocations to various subsystems in close collaboration with specialists
- Developing requirements based on reference and applicable documents
- Defining the train system architecture, operational modes, and functionalities
- Performing train system FMECA in coordination with the RAMS team
- Ensuring consistency and compatibility between all subsystem specifications
- Writing subsystem specifications and architecture descriptions
- Defining and performing train verification strategies
- Writing train-level test specifications
- Providing technical support during train revenue service
- Reporting at both project and metier levels and supporting risk mitigation plans

- Degree in Engineering or a related field
- 8 years of experience or understanding of system architecture design and integration
- Knowledge of RAMS principles and FMECA processes
- Familiarity with technical specification writing and requirement development
- A certification in systems engineering or a related field
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
