Overview Working closely with the Business Unit and cross functional teams, this role focuses on co-ordinating the innovation and new product development initiatives – developing and executing against the overall project timeline milestones. Understanding of product lead times, production constraints and required stock build is key to success. This role will be recruited into Glboal Business Services as of 2024 and as such there will be a level of initial ambiguity in activity as the processes are adopted across during transition. It is expected that the role will therefore require an initial flexibility of approach as processes are primarily fixed then shifted and improved over following strategy cycles. Responsibilities Cairo Business Services Lead point of contact for BU commercialisation and other cross functional team (eg Operations Innovation lead) for all innovations Lead CBS input for the respective Market Unit innovation pipeline, ensuring feasibility of execution is established as part of the Stage Gate approval process. Ensure appropriate escalation where needed CBS planning lead to ensure project timelines and Accolade milestone approval & process is adhered too CBS lead for Accolade Gate 4 approval - Pass/ Fail Accountable for ensuring timely SwissCo compliance & project and approval Build and maintain innovation timeline with inputs from broader project team, holding cross-functional team members accountable for on-time delivery of their tasks to ensure key milestones are achieved Follow up on innovations / transitions progress (dates, volumes and write offs) leading the Monthly Project Alignment Meeting CBS lead to ensure that the innovation pipeline is executed according to plan, coordinating all participants in the process Work with Master Data lead to ensure availability of master data for innovations (for raw, pack and finished goods codes) Plan the consumption / run-down of inventory of raw, pack and finished goods code that will be de-listed Collaborate with Portfolio, Innovations and category planners to minimize obsolescence and improve fulfilment (Service) Analyse and enhance the innovation process to simplify and reduce the launch time Work with the commercial team to evaluate the Gate 5 performance of the innovations launched Qualifications Engineering University Degree 2-3 years of experience Knowledge of Planning (Demand, Production/Distribution and Material Planning processes) Abilities: Effective time management skills Excellent communication skills Ability to work independently in a multi-task environment Application of Supply chain principles with extensive knowledge in MRP & Production planning Skills in query/reporting tools , spreadsheet applications and presentations Problem solving know-how Team oriented and collaborative
