As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’re the champion of clean, cozy, and safe spaces that make every guest feel truly at home. You’ll lead a dynamic and diverse team, providing hands-on training, coaching, and support to ensure excellence in every room. With a sharp eye for detail and a heart for hospitality, you help uphold safety standards while assisting guests with warmth and professionalism.

You’ll lead a dynamic and diverse team, providing hands-on training, coaching, and support to ensure excellence in every room. With a sharp eye for detail and a heart for hospitality, you help uphold safety standards while assisting guests with warmth and professionalism.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Training, coaching, rewarding, and disciplining all employees on aspects of the job.
- Prepare housekeeping paperwork and divide/assign rooms to room attendants evenly.
- Radio and phone communications with all hotel staff on any safety or service concerns.
- Daily inspection of guest rooms and employee housing for quality assurance.
- Update housekeeping logs throughout the resort and assuring the proper storage of chemicals and cleaning products.
- Interact and communicate with guests, providing property-specific and local information, answering questions, and communicating concerns to a supervisor, creating memorable moments for our guests.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must pass a pre-employment background check.
- Minimum age of 18 years is required to reside in company housing, where available.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States. Holland America-Princess is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-2B status).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
- Ability to organize and prioritize work, and maintain attention to time constraints, while working in a team or group environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and external influences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while achieving daily goals.
- Ability to support and comply with company policies, procedures, and guidelines including support and comply with company health and safety standards.
- Ability to stand/walk/work on feet for a minimum of 8 hours per day.
