The Opportunity

Join our dynamic Adoption team as a Digital Adoption & Communication Intern, where you’ll play a vital role in increasing user adoption and proficiency of Microsoft 365 Apps & Services across MGB. This internship offers hands-on experience in internal communications, digital processes, and user engagement within a collaborative environment.

Mass General Brigham Digital, an organization focused on driving digital innovation and research within the Mass General Brigham healthcare system. It encompasses various initiatives and teams that leverage technology to advance healthcare, including research computing, digital health innovation, and clinical research related to artificial intelligence.

The Student Intern receives academic credit in accordance with school and internship guidelines. The MGB internship program provides hands-on professional learning experiences specific to the department.

• Skills Acquisition: Supports development of industry-specific and transferable skills such as project management, communication, and problem-solving.

• Career Exploration: Provides real time experience to explore if a particular field or position aligns with long-term career aspirations.
• Organizational Insight: Provide a deeper understanding of MGB culture, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities.


 

Qualifications

Skills for Success and Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required
  • Currently enrolled in educational college program. Enrolled in undergraduate or graduate program, required
  • Relevant field of study highly preferred
  • Exceptional time management, prioritization and organization abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and pivot within scope for business needs
  • Ability to work in a team environment and autonomously to take initiative and common goals
     

Student Intern duties

  • Contribute to content creation by conducting research, sourcing and editing images, and formatting articles for user-facing resources.
  • Review and update digital resources to ensure accuracy and relevance.
  • Track and analyze article performance on high-traffic internal platforms to inform strategic content decisions.
  • Support change management initiatives by researching and testing new feature updates for Microsoft 365 apps, including generative AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
  • Copyedit articles, presentations, and communications to maintain high standards of clarity and consistency.
  • Monitor and support user communities, respond to queries, and track requests to enhance user experience.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
