Structural Mechanics Engineer
Role & responsibilities
1. Perform static or dynamic stress analysis of component or equipment due to pressure, thermal, wind, seismic loadings etc. using ANSYS.
2. Determining natural frequency using commercial software or firmware.
3. Analysing rotor dynamic behaviour using commercial software or firmware.
4. Carrying out analysis in accordance with international codes and standards for order specific needs.
5. Creating analysis reports including those to be submitted to client.
6. Recommending design changes to construction engineers, based on findings.
7. Creating new or rewriting firmware required for structural analysis.
Working under full or partial guidance
Preferred candidate profile
- Fundamental knowledge of structural mechanics & FEA
- Experience with ANSYS or similar FEA packages
- Knowledge of programming in C++ & JAVA (optional)
