Structural CAD Designer
We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural CAD Designer to join our innovative team in Navi Mumbai, India. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality 2D and 3D models and drawings for structural projects using advanced CAD software.
- Design and develop detailed 3D and 2D CAD models for structural engineering projects
- Create, modify, and update technical drawings and specifications
- Perform engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading CAD models
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design accuracy and integration
- Assess and analyze models provided by others for quality, integration, and potential clashes
- Determine design limitations, assumptions, and solutions
- Assist in the implementation of CAD engineering applications
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices in structural design
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies
- Bachelor's or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
- 5-13 years of experience in structural CAD design
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, Revit, Navis Freedom, and AutoCAD
- Expert-level skills in 1D, 2D, and 3D design
- Experience in assessment and production using various CAD tools, including AVEVA 3D and AVEVA 2D for diagrams
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in structural engineering
- Experience with structural analysis software is a plus
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and software updates in the CAD field
