Structural Analysis Engineer
We are looking for a Structural Analysis Engineer
The candidate will support the Structural Analysis Group activities by:
- Modelling activities, in terms of finite elements, of structural hardwares, using pre-post commercial software.
- Performing Structural analyses with MSC Nastran, in particular static and dynamic analyses, including generation of reduced models ( Craig Bampton and superelements)
- Supporting design activities, taking into account manufacturing aspects (e.g. bolt selection and calculation)
- Performing Multi-body Analyses to contribute to the mechanism design and to study the impact manoeuvres
- Performing Vibro-acoustic analyses
- Supporting test activities, defining instrumentation plan, and attending to the test activities to evaluate in real time the empirical results and to guarantee the integrity of the structure.
- Evaluating the test results and updating the mathematical models on the basis of the correlation test-analysis results
Key duties:

- Multibody modelgenerationto study thephenomenaofimpact and themechanismsandtheirperformance
Skills, experience and qualifications required:
- Master degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical engineering
- Languages:
- Very good knowledge of English written and speech
- French Language knowledge will be considered additional asset

- Knowledge ofpre-post codes togenerateFinite Element Models (MSCPatran, FEMAP, Hypermesh)
- Knowledge to perform independently structural analyses with finiteelement (MSC Nastran, Ansys, Actran)
- Knowledge to defineanalytically sine, random andshockenvironments and loads,applyingwhen necessarynotchingcriteria
- Knowledge ofMatlab –Simulink
- Knowledge ofsoftwareto performMultibody Analyses ( MSC Adams, HyperWorks)
- The following skills are considered a ‘plus’ for this position:
- Definition of specifications for structure
- Definition of environmentandloads
- Knowledge ofDynaworks
- Knowledge of CAD modeling and drawing
