Strategic Sales Development Lead
This isn’t your typical SDR/BDR role. As our first dedicated outbound hire, you’ll architect the system that takes us from zero to scale. You’ll test ICPs, experiment with channels, and craft messaging that resonates with senior decision-makers — from C-Suite executives and HR leaders to founders and partners.
You’ll balance the science of ROI with the art of mission-driven storytelling, building repeatable frameworks that generate pipeline and set the stage for a world-class sales organization.
What You’ll Do
Own outbound prospecting from research to multi-channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone, lightweight assets).
Craft and refine messaging that resonates with executive stakeholders.
Generate and qualify opportunities that consistently feed the pipeline.
Partner with Marketing and Sales to create integrated campaigns.
Track, analyze, and optimize performance metrics to continuously improve.
Build the foundation for future hires — including playbooks, tools, and team culture.
Who You Are
2–4+ years of outbound sales or prospecting experience.
Confident engaging with senior stakeholders; adaptable messaging across personas.
Exceptional communicator — strong writer, persuasive storyteller, and confident phone presence.
Systems builder: you thrive on testing, iteration, and scaling repeatable outbound processes.
Comfortable in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where there’s no playbook.
Bonus: healthcare, benefits, or C-Suite selling experience.
