Straightener & Shear Pulpit Operator

03/12/2026 Brief Description: Operate the straightener and shear in a safe and efficient manner. Set-up shear and straightener for customer lengths according to Axiom. All duties assigned by the supervisor are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner. Job Duties and Responsibilities Candidate must be willing and able to: • Operate computer efficiently • Be able to operate remote crane safely • Be able to work without direct supervision • Work overtime when required • Assist with the change of the straightener • Be able to change the CMP800 shear blades • Separate heats and charge outs on the cooling bed • Preform all other duties assigned by supervisor Required • High school diploma or equivalent • Must complete Mechanical Aptitude Test Preferred • 2- Year Verifiable work experience in an industrial environment
