As Stock Operative you will be responsible for the stock in your department, from unpacking deliveries, (new and replenished lines), to completing audits and maintaining the stock room. You will ensure that stock on your department is available and accessible, supporting the retail teams to put the customer and the heart and create an experience that keeps them coming back.Shift Patterns - This role requires Full Flexibility but shifts will mainly stick to Tue-Sat, 7am-12pm; exceptions are made during Peak trading months. As Stock Operative you will:Be responsible for unpacking the delivery each day, putting stock out on the floor an away in the stockroom.Replenish stock on the floor as and when required, ensuring newness is on the floor pre-open and communicated to your colleagues.Deliver and maintain world class stockroom standards template to maintain stockroom standards, making them easily accessible to find stock for customers.You will effectively receive, dispatch and process deliveries and transfers, ensuring a high level of knowledge across all areas of ISIM and Retek. Escalate any issues through to your Line Manager and DC EscalationTo liaise with your Line Manager to ensure all Faulty, Sold as Seen, Stock on Loan, Refund reconciliation, Dump Sku’s, Repairs and RGA processes are followed to minimise stock loss and write offs.Follow the defined process on holds for customers and team members, ensuring they are held in the correct place for the correct period of time.Prepare the stockrooms and shop floor to conduct audit counts twice a year (and additional as required). Following receipt of stock take results, support the necessary investigations and liaise with Department Manager and internal audit with the outcome of the investigations.Action daily and weekly mini audits where necessary and in agreement with your Line Manager and internal audit.To support in the delivery of compliance and health and safety, ensuring all fire exits are clear, ensuring stockrooms are always well maintained and compliantHow you’ll do it…you will be:Well organised. You understand the importance your role plays in our service proposition by maintaining clean, tidying and accurate stock rooms to support the sales teamA great communicator. Ability to work both independently as well as collaborate across the wider team.
