The Workforce Development sterile processing technician program is a free 16-week training opportunity for individuals ages 18 and older interested in beginning a healthcare career through the essential work of sterile processing technology. Offered in partnership with the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI), the program equips students with the foundational knowledge and hands-on experience required to ensure instruments are safely cleaned, sterilized, and prepared for surgery in an operating room setting.
