Expected salary range of $63,900 to $71,000, varies based on experience, along with comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401(k).

Primary Purpose of Position

The responsibility of the Stationary Engineer II role is to operate equipment such as, boilers, chillers, pumps, cooling towers, and air compressors in the assigned facility. Perform equipment preventive maintenance, make routine rounds to inspect equipment, and take shift readings. Also includes taking samples and performing water quality tests. Assist SE-1, maintenance, electrical and instrumentation personnel as required.

 

Primary Duties and Accountabilities

  • Ensure water quality at assigned plants by executing prescribed water management procedures and maintaining proper plant chemistry.
  • Operate and maintain facility equipment, including chillers, boilers, pumps, air compressors, and cooling towers.
  • Support plant staff and leadership in the delivery of chilled water and steam generation.
  • Work directly with the operations manager to identify, plan, and coordinate maintenance activities.

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and forced overtime
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to work in a confined space and at various heights
  • 2 years of experience in a plant environment producing chilled water, steam, or electricity, performing mechanical, electrical, controls, or operations roles
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including chilled water, steam, and pumping systems
  • Experience entering equipment logs and meter readings into spreadsheets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Stationary Engineers License
  • Experience performing mechanical maintenance on chiller and boiler plant systems
