Own end-to-end design for complex, high-impact product areas that serve candidates and elected officials.Drive design strategy and execution for features bridging campaign tools and constituent services.Evolve the design system by creating patterns and components that enable swift shipping.Elevate brand expression across products to ensure alignment with our mission and accessibility.Pioneer AI-powered design workflows to enhance team velocity and maintain craft excellence.Conduct user research to understand what a representative democracy experience entails.Implement design changes directly in the codebase to streamline engineering processes.Mentor peer designers on design excellence and research methodologies.Collaborate with engineering and product leads to ensure timely and high-quality feature delivery.Requirements
6+ years of product design experience with a focus on consumer internet or SaaS.At least 2+ years in a staff or principal-level individual contributor role.Proven experience leading multi-stakeholder products from inception to launch.Strong skills in responsive web design and native mobile applications.Proficiency in design tools like Figma and comfortable with implementation in code.Experience with AI tools to enhance design workflows beyond content generation.Deep expertise in user research methodologies across diverse user segments.Exceptional brand sensibility with the ability to enhance product aesthetics.Experience building design systems to boost team efficiency while ensuring coherence.Strong communication skills for conveying complex design decisions.Benefits
